KL Trip!!!
KL Trip
(30/09/05)
The 6 of us (Me, Darling, KZ, JT,Joane and Sister) took a bus from J.B Larkin Terminal to KL. The journey took longer than what it was supposed to be. Coz we chosen a wrong bus, the bus stopped at Yong Peng for a rest for about 45 minutes and picked up new passengers at Seremban. So a longer journey, we only reached KL at 3.30pm. Then we went to KLCC. We took the train there and reached at KLCC at 4.30pm, so we went for our late lunch at KFC. Following that, we went to Starbucks to meet the Taiwan and Hongkong fans and Cindy. Then we went shopping at KLCC for about 1.5 hrs. Then we had dinner again. 2 meals within 2 hours…… In the end, we were too full to move. Following that, we went to the 6-stars hotel, Palace of the Golden Horses. The room was 40sqm, a very big room, so 4 of us shared 1 room. Accommodations costs during promotion per room is RM$390, normal rate will be RM$780.

At about 11.30pm, we went to the lift lobby and waited for Fish to be back from her rehearsal. Then she came at about 11.45pm. Fish was quite shocked that there were so many of us waiting for her at the door (about 20 over). She had a short chat with us before she went back to her room for a rest. Fish lived on the 8th floor and I lived on the 5th floor. Then we had a drink at the lobby cafe before we went back to our rooms for a rest. Cindy and the taiwan fans bought Fish’s favourite hakka noddles from "马口". It was quite nice even though it was bought quite a few hours ago.

The day we were all waiting for. Some of them had the buffet breakfast in the hotel but I did not coz don’t have so many coupons. Then we went to Lot 10, taking the 10.30am bus from the hotel. The journey to Lot 10 took us about 0.5 hours. Then we went Sungei Wang for shopping with Dasmond and Kenneth who arrived only yesterday night from SG. Spent about 1.5 hours shopping around with Darling. Bought shoes, clothes, bags, Fish’s Malaysia version "Silkroad" album. Then met up with the rest of the people at 12.30pm for lunch at Nandos. Nandos is just like Kenny Rogers which sells chickens. Had a very full lunch. Then we met up with the rest of people like fans from Hongkong, Taiwan and Japan to return to the hotel to take a rest. Kenneth and Dasmond went KLCC.
After returning to the hotel, at about 3.20pm, I suggested to Joane and her sister to go to Mines Shopping Fair(MSF). Then we checked with the Hotel Concierge and found that’s the next available bus to MSF will only be at 5.00pm which is too late for us coz we leaving the hotel at 5.45pm. Then upon finding out more, we had another choice which was the water-taxi. Then we ran and tried to catch the 3.30pm boat but as we reached the jetty, the boat was leaving but the boatman very kind, he returned and picked the 6 of us up and we reached Mines SPA Resort at about 3.50pm. Then we had to take a long walk to the MSF. MSF was quite big, just like a normal shopping mall, things selling was not very expensive, just like other shopping malls. We walked around for about 0.75 hour, then we went for dinner at the food court before we took the Water Taxi back to Palace of the Golden Horses (PGH). The coming trip costs RM$5 but the return trip cost RM$10. We were thinking how come the return trip was so expensive. But since, we don’t have to walk back to Mines SPA Resort to take the boat, we could save a bit of walking distance and took straight from the MSF, we will quite happy with it. But surprise came, there is a water lock. Weird, never heard before. Me too. The boat went for a deceleration experience from a 8m height. A truly 1st time experience for the 6 of us. We were like shocked that there was such a fun thing. Then we reached the PGH at about 5.30pm, so we went back to our room for a rest and get ready to go to Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil for Fish’s concert.

The bus came at 5.50pm and we left the hotel to Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil. Usually it's a 15 minutes ride from the hotel to Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil. But there was a massive jam & there were many policemen & police cars on the way. As we approached Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil nearer, we found that there was a road re-routing caused by the Malaysia Cup Final at the adjacent National Stadium. Many were flying there state flag which was yellow and red and many were wearing yellow and red to go the National Stadium to watch the Malaysia Cup Final. A sight which I don't think will happen in Singapore. Finally, we reached Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil at about 7pm. We had to take a long walk due to road re-routing. Many were already at outside Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil waiting to go into the stadium. We took many pictures outside Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil while waiting to go in.
The concert part, I will give it a miss here. See my review on it.
We reached the hotel at about 1+ and slept at 2+ in the morning.

I had breakfast coupons today so I can go and eat the buffet breakfast in the restaurant. The food is just like the buffet breakfast in Genting. I had some sambal sotong, french toast, chicken sausages, ham etc…. Then relax in the room until about 12pm where Kenneth, KZ, Darling and me sent Dasmond, Jito, Joane and sister to the Concierge to wait for the cab coz they taking the 1.30pm bus to return to Singapore whereas the 4 of us are going for a recording in the afternoon.
Then the 4 of us went to Mines Shopping Fair again to buy back lunch which in the end we did not have time to finish all due to the rushing. But it was a fun one. Then we reached the hotel at about 2pm, just in time to get all our belongings from Room 5072 and met the rest of the people at the life lobby to board the bus to Astro.
Astro Recording, I will write another write-up on it.
The Astro recording ended later than expected but we managed to reach Putra Bus Station at 9.40pm, in time for our 10pm bus back to Singapore. We went to buy water and food to drink and eat while waiting for the bus to arrive. The bus left at 10.30pm, 0.5hour later. We thought the bus will stop on the way but it was a straight bus from KL to Singapore. After a 10min break, the bus went on the highway and by 2.30am, we were already at Larkin Terminal. The bus was so fast. Imagine I was home at 3.25am. But poor Kenneth who wanted to buy food on the way had to starve because he did not had dinner or any snack before getting onto the bus. It was a tiring but nice and interesting journey. Through this trip, I have made friends from Taiwan, Hongkong, Japan , Malaysia and even Singapore.
