Singapore Love Parade Concert on 05/03/05
The day where Fish Leong is having her Love Parade concert in Singapore. This is her 2nd stop after the 1st was held for 2 consecutive days in Taiwan in Oct 2004. This is her first ever ticket selling concert in Singapore.
I bought the premium seats tickets, 1st time for a concert, I’m sitting 6th row from the stage, with the stage in front of me and the screen very near me. I went with Darling but sad to say due to venue constraint, there was no lovers seats in Singapore Concert.
The stage was very beautiful with the horse carrousel on the left hand side of the stage and we happened to sit on the left, there was also a shell screen in the center of the stage. However the Ferris wheel was missing from the stage. But the stage was still great.
Fish started the concert with the song "燕尾蝶" descending from a 12m high butterfly stand. No doubt, Fish was afraid but she did well in singing the song. Following that, there was a Japanese-like lady playing the "不想睡". Then was my favorite song, "听不到". Following that, Fish did some talking. 梁静茹表示她状况非常好，还说："我很期待这次的演唱会，你们是不是等了很久？新加坡对我意义重大，能到这里来开演唱会，我真的得谢谢你们，我办到了！" 梁静茹也说：
"在演唱会之前，我有到观众席很后面的位子去坐坐，上面的朋友，你能看到我吗？"她还开玩笑说："买便宜一点的票就少看一点啦！"惹得当场的观众大笑。Usually for concert, if you pay more, you can see better lor, so those who pay less, cannot see much but still can see the big screen.
Following that, Fish sang a few of her all-times KTV Hits which include "爱你不是两三天", "分手快乐" etc…. In order to thanks her Singapore Fans, Fish also sang a sonher which she never sang in her Taiwan Concert which was her 1st album 1st promoting song "对不起，我爱你". Everyone sang alone and it was like the largest KTV session you can ever find.
After changing, Fish sat on the horse carrousel just like a little princess. After singing
"最想环游的世界"，she also sang Jolin’s "布拉格广场". Then she also sang "茉莉花" + "东风破" + "纯真". When Fish was singing "纯真", some of the audience shouted "Ma Sha", one of her rumoured boyfriend.Fish also sang "孤单北半球", first sang in Singapore Concert. The song can be found in her "Love Parade" Live CD but was meant to perform in Singapore.Then there was Fang Zu Ming, her rumoured boyfriend as her special guest. They hold hands and sang "在我生命中的每一天". Fang Zu Ming was very nervous and he contiuned with his song "Little Boy" while Fish went to change and take a rest.
Then Fish changed into chili red suit singing "I Should be So Lucky" and dacncing away on the stage. Then there was Emil Chua, the funnest guest for the night. He wore causually and bought on stage his guitar and his humour.

Then Fish re-appeared in the black dress bringing us more of her songs like "?都知道" "如果有一天", "接受", ".彩虹" and "勇气", her last song . Fish made a final appearance where she changed into white "Love Parade" T-shirt and jeans for her encore songs "一夜长大", "掌声响起" & "分手快乐". Fish cried a lot of time on the stage as these 3 songs brought back many memories for her. When she was singing "掌声响起", she cried non-stop until her make-up was smeared.
In her last song "分手快乐", many were featured in the VCR like May Day, Mickey Wang, Jacky Wu, Huang Pin Yuan, and Penny who sang the song along. With that song, the concert had ended. Fish sang a total of about 30 old and new songs in her Singapore Love Parade Concert.

Overall Review
The Taiwan Love Parade Concert DVD only arrived after the "Singapore Love Parade Concert". I watched it too. It was so touching. Watching 3 out of 4 "Love Parade Concert", I still like Singapore one more. Mainly because it’s our country, so we tend to be more comfortable here. Another reason was that the number of songs sang in Singapore was obviously more than anywhere else and the concert in Singapore stretch to almost 3.5 hours, longer than other countries too.
I was 3rd row from the stage, nobody blocking, no reporters crowding in the front. There were still quite a number of blank seats even though there was an addition of "Lover Seats". But I heard it's fully packed.
SG concert, everyone was more high compared to Malaysia one. I had a feeling, everyone in the stadium was sitting quietly and listening to her while in SG, everyone was cheering for her. This was the main difference.
The stage in Singapore was smaller than the one in Taiwan but the stage in Malaysia was even smaller that Fish hardly had any other space to move along. The stage was too simple and small. The stage was also not well decorated up too.
By right, Fish should sang more songs since this is her debut concert in her homeland but weirdly, she sang less songs than in other countries even though she sang 2 new songs from her new album. Was it due to the road re-routing that caused her concert to be delayed by 0.5 hour? The concert started at 9.00pm and ended by slightly earlier than 12.00am. When she announced it was her last song at about 11.30pm, everyone was shocked, so fast, last song already. Later, I heard from unoffical resources, that Fish cut short her concert, meaning she should sing 7 more songs but due to the delay, she shorten her concert. If this is true, then it will be a really waste.

A night of beautiful music marred by a late start, overzealous organisers and poor seats.
(a) BLAME it on the Malaysia Cup final. Blame it on the Malaysian propensity to be fashionably late. Whatever it was, the concert by local lass Fish Leong at Stadium Putra in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur was an unfortunate choice of location, given the huge crowds and road closures that normally accompany the soccer finale.The concert proper thus started very late, with people still sauntering in casually and unforgivably at 9pm.
(b) her concert performances are not limited to intimate, soul-searing singalongs. In fact, this Negri Sembilan lass has also included a couple of fast dances (the catchy Kylie Minogue number I Should Be So Lucky was a good effort, poor pronunciation notwithstanding), obligatory flashy costume changes, surprise guest artistes and nice stage choreography (ballet performances among them).
(c) The sofa seats fronting the stage — 72 in all — were reserved for couples not averse to paying RM500 per two-seater to watch their favourite singer in cosy comfort. Quite clever actually, for it allowed easy banter between singer and audience along the love theme lines. One couple was also invited on stage where the man actually went down on his knees to propose! Staged? Never mind. It was all in good fun.
(d) Okay, on the downside, the RM190 seats could have been better. They were the el-cheapo plastic kind, obviously hard and uncomfortable. The organisers were also too strict in their no-camera rule, confiscating them (returning them only after the show) when fans started clicking away. Hoi!, this is Fish Leong, not J.Lo. Do they not realise that it is because of fans that singers become stars? One lady, who drove all the way from Penang with her children just for the show, was noticeably upset. I can safely assume Leong has one less fan in Malaysia.
I fully agree with the person who wrote this. Especially, the no camera rule, why can media shoot all they can where the fans can't. Don't forget that fans are important too. In Singapore, I can take as much pictures as I want but in Malaysia, all of us were restricted, was that the reason why we were less "high" in the concert?. No camera-rule as a bad choice.
Another thing to mention is the tickets. The tickets design was great but what was shocking was that we were only given back the small portion, the bigger portion with Fish on it was taken back. What a weird organiser to design such a nice ticket but not for us to keep. Instead, they took back the right portion and gave us the left portion. Luckily we took a picture of the ticket first.
Overall, if you would want me to grade, I would rate SG concert as 1st and Taiwan concert as 2nd (I watched the DVD) and Malaysia Concert as 3rd, China one (No DVD, no footage on TV, so leaving it out). But Fish did well in all her world tour concert. The biggest KTV session ever.
