Episode 1 Life is just like a box full of liquor-filled chocolates

On Christmas Eve, Sam Soon enters into a hotel looking for her cheating boyfriend, Hyeon Woo. She’s been suspicious about his behavior and she sees him going up to the room with a beautiful woman. She pictures herself beating up her boyfriend and the woman. However, when she runs into him, she clings to him and begs him to come back - like a complete loser. At the same hotel, Jin Heon is on a blind date arranged by his mother who insists that he get married before his niece Mi Joo goes to school. He sees Sam Soon begging Hyeon Woo and finds it very amusing. Since he isn’t interested in the date, he decides to finish it as quickly as possible. Offended by his rudeness, the woman throws water in his face. He goes to the restroom to dry his wet clothes and finds Sam Soon crying in the men’s restroom, which she thought, was the women’s.

After breaking up with Hyeon Woo, Sam Soon got even chubbier. She has a job interview in a French restaurant but was overqualified. She takes a peep at the pastry kitchen on her way out and bumps into Jin Heon who was looking for the head pastry chef to help him in his restaurant. To make things even worse, her hair gets stuck in his coat’s button. Without hesitating, Jin Heon cuts off Sam Soon’s hair. Furious, Sam Soon throws the cake in his face Jin Heon tastes the cake that was smashed on his face and runs after Sam Soon. He offers her a job in his restaurant, and Sam Soon says she will think about it.

She goes for the interview and made some pastries for tasting. She passes the interview but she has only one condition to accept their offer. She asked to be introduced as Kim Hee Jin instead of Kim Sam Soon. Jin Heon agrees to introduce Sam Soon as anything but Hee Jin. But Sam Soon insists and Jin Heon relents, as he really needs a pastry chef.

On a plane, Hee Jin is on her way home. She is seated next to Sam Soon’s elder sister Yi Young. She is looking forward to coming home after being in the States for 3 years. She’s very happy to come back after 3 years. At the airport, she takes out her old cell phone. There is a picture of Hee Jin and Jin Heon. She can’t wait to meet him again.

Sam Soon starts work at "Bon Appetite" and is introduced by Jin Heon as Kim Hee Jin. Sam Soon finds out that all the girls in the restaurant has a crush on Jin Heon. The restaurant held a welcome party for Sam Soon. She fantasizes about doing a seductive dance but instead pulled of a silly act on stage.Sam Soon meets a decent man on an arranged date. She feels that she finally met a man with whom she can seriously consider marriage. On the other side of the cafe, Jin Heon is meeting a woman. Since he’s not interested in meeting her, he can’t wait to leave the place. He soon spots Sam Soon and decides to play a joke because Jin Heon could not believe that Sam Soon is able to get into another relationship so quickly. He comes over where Sam Soon and her date are sitting and starts acting as if he were Sam-soon’s boyfriend. Sam Soon thinks that Jin Heon has ruined her almost perfect date, so she tells him that she won’t work at his restaurant.

Jin Heon realizes what he did was wrong. He follows Sam Soon the entire day as she goes to different places to cheer herself up and try to convince Sam Soon to change her mind about resigning. Sam Soon ends up drunk and passes out. Jin Heon takes her to his apartment to clean her up.Jin Heon's mother finds out about Jin Heon walked out on his date with another girl called Sam Soon . She visits Jin Heon the next morning and finds Sam Soon in Jin Heon's apartment. Jin Heon's mother thought that Sam Soon is Jin Heon's girlfriend. She tells Jin Heon to bring Sam Soon home for a formal introduction.Jin Heon propose to Sam Soon; "Let's try falling in love". Sam Soon spits her rice on Jin Heon's face when she hears Jin Heon's suggestion.

Sam Soon is at a loss when Jin Heon asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend in front of his mother Mrs. Na. Sam Soon asks him why he chose her. He says it’s because they will never fall for each other. Sam Soon is surprised to see her sister Yi Young at home. Sam-soon’s mother Bong-sook is shocked to hear that her daughter Yi-young decided to get divorced.

Jang Chae Ri comes to Bon Appetit to make a reservation for her engagement party. Chae Ridoesn’t seem happy to hear that Sam Soon will make her cake. When Chae Ri’s fiancé comes in, Sam Soon can’t believe her eyes. He was her ex-boyfriend Hyeon Woo. She feels awkward about making a cake for her ex-boyfriend’s engagement party. When she comes home, she finds her mother sick in bed. She finds out that they’re about to lose their house because her late father co-signed guarantor for his uncle. She tries to think of a way to save the house. In order to save her family home, Sam Soon approaches Jin Heon and agrees to be his "girlfriend". Jin Heon quickly agrees and immediately takes Sam Soon out and announced to his staff that they are dating. This incurrs the jealousy of the other girls as Sam Soon has taken their Prince Charming from them.

Hee Jin receives a video from Dr Henry Kim who confesses his love for her. He admits that he loved her from the moment he met her, and although he knows she loves someone else, he still cannot get Hee Jin from her head.

Jin Heon takes Sam Soon home and introduce her to his family. Sam Soon meets Jin Heon's niece, Mi Joo, who is a pretty 7 seven-year-old who refuses to speak.Jin Heon plays the piano for Mi Joo, and Sam Soon requests for "Over the Rainbow" which Jin Heon refuses to play. Secretary Yoon then tells Sam Soon that the song was Jin Heon's ex-girlfriend's favourite tune.Sam Soon and Jin Heon gets into an argument about Jin Heon's behaviour to Sam Soon over the song. Both decide to draft their "dating contract" on the coasters of the restaurant which they were having their argument.

Episode 4 Over the Rainbow

During Sam Soon’s break time, a woman comes into the restaurant. Since Sam Soon doesn’t like her name, she wears a name tag that reads "Kim Hee Jin" at work. Noticing her name tag, the woman tells Sam Soon that her name is Hee jin as well. Sam Soon hesitates for a second and offers her a cup of coffee. Everyone in the restaurant believes that Jin Heon and Sam Soon are dating. Jin Heon comes with a huge bouquet of flowers and gives it to Sam-soon. He celebrates their 100-day anniversary. Sam Soon is confused about his behavior.

Sam Soon and Jin Heon goes to the best bake shop to try out their food and bumps into Chae Ri and Hyeon Woo. Jin Heon remembers Hyeon Woo to be Sam Soon 's ex-boyfriend. To spite Hyeon Woo, Jin Heon acts intimate with Sam Soon and tells Chae Ri and Hyeon Woo that they are dating. Chae Ri goes ballistic as she has always considered Jin Heon as her first crush and could not believe what could Jin Heon see in Sam Soon.

Jin Heon apologises to Sam Soon that she has to bake Hyeon Woo's enagement cake. Sam Soon says it is all right, since she has already decided the design. Jin Heon's leg starts to hurt because he had to stand in the subway. Sam Soon takes Jin Heon to a private cinema so that he can rest his legs.Sam Soon finds out that Jin Heon injured his leg in an accident a few years ago, and that was why he did not drive. They have a discussion about love and relationship and Sam Soon suggests that Jin Heon may be gay or impotent from his accident, which explains his lack of interest in women. Jin Heon tried to prove this point, acts as if he was going to kiss Sam Soon. Then he backs off with his tease.

Sam Soon loses sleep over what happened at the cinema and gets up early to do baking in the restaurant. Jin Heon came in early in his sports attire as Mi Joo waked him up earlier by phone, so he sang Mi Joo a song to put her to sleep.

One day, a couple comes into the restaurant. It turns out that the man is cheating when his wife comes into the restaurant and catches him red-handed. There’s a big din in the restaurant. To change the atmosphere, Sam Soon suggests that Jin Heon play the piano. Left with no other choice, Jin Heon starts playing the piano. Then, Hee Jin enters into the restaurant.

Jin Heon is angry with Hee Jin walking out of his life 3 years ago. She had not contacted him all this time. Hee Jin tries to explain but Jin Heon is too angry to listen to her. He walks out of the cafe. Jin Heon drinks alone in the restaurant after everyone has done back. Sam Soon drinks with Jin Heon and asks whether Hee Jin is his ex-girlfriend. Jin Heon does not reply. Then Sam Soon asks what is Hee Jin's surname. Jin Heon utters Yoo Hee Jin and passes out.

Episode 5 Love is childish

Sam Soon takes Jin Heon who is completely drunk back to his apartment. Whether he realizes it or not, he doesn’t let Sam Soon leave so Sam Soon spends the night in his apartment. Early in the morning, somebody comes to Jin Heon’s apartment. Sam Soon thinks that his mother came, but she soon finds Hee Jinat the door. Meanwhile, since Sam Soon didn’t come home the night before, Yi-young go to the restaurant where she’s working. She sits at the table and orders the food, but she doesn’t even touch the food. The chef-in-charge thinks it strange and comes to Yi-young’s table to check if everything’s okay.

Hee Jin calls Sam Soon out to meet her and to find out about her relationship with Jin Heon. Hee Jin asks Sam Soon to back off from Jin Heon and Sam Soon in turn asks for the same from Hee Jin.Sam Soon invites Mi Joo over to the restaurant to bake cookies. Sam Soon tells Mi Joo that she is like Momo from the book "Momo". The three gets into a flour fight and Jin Heon laughs for the first time and the stuff in the restaurant could not recognize Jin Heon’s laughter as no one has ever heard his laughter before.

Hee Jin waits for Jin Heon in his place but is chased out by Jin Heon who accused Hee Jin of leaving him for another man. He asks her how come he couldn’t find her name at any school even though she told him that she would be a student there. He confronts her and screams at her, which makes Hee Jin very sad. Hee Jin leaves hurt by Jin Heon's words, before she could finish telling Jin Heon what she wanted to say. Jin Heon regrets his action and follows Hee Jin to her apartment only to witness Hee Jin sobbing in Henry's arms.

Episode 6 The calories of a kiss, the calories of love

Hyeon Woo comes to see Sam Soon the day before his engagement. He asks Sam Soon to break off with Jin Heon and come back to him. He wants to start over with Sam Soon, yet he was still going to go ahead with his engagement. He gets beaten up and chased away by Sam Soon.

Furious about Hyeon Woo, Sam Soon thinks about putting very spicy peppers into the cake, but decides not to do so in the end. Instead, Sam Soon bakes a beautiful engagement cake for Chae Ri and Hyeon Woo. She hides in a corner and shed tears of pain as she witness their engagement ceremony. Jin Heon sees Sam Soon crying.

Sam Soon sits by the piano after closing hours, drowning her sorrows with liquor. Jin Heon sees Sam Soon trying to play the piano and decides to teach her how to play. Jin Heon consoles Sam Soon. Sam Soon tells Jin Heon why she likes the name Hee Jin. Jin Heon tells Sam Soon that it is over between him and Hee Jin. They shares an intimate moment, and then Sam Soon kisses Jin Heon.

Jin Heon apologizes to Sam Soon about the kiss stating that it was his mistake. Sam Soon apologizes as well, because she claim that she kissed him first. Both agreed that since they have the same thinking about the kiss, so it was a mistake and they should just forget about it.

Jin Heon asks Sam Soon to prepare to go to Jeju Island with him for his family's new hotel opening. Hee Jin also reads about the opening of a new hotel from the newspapers by Jin Heon's family on Jeju Island and decides to go there with Henry.

Episode 7 Madeleine...In Search Of Lost Time
7부 마들렌, 잃어버린 시간을 찾아서

Jin Heon and Sam Soon are at the grand opening party of the hotel that Jin Heon’s family owns on Jeju Island. Hyeon Woo and Chae Ri are there, as well. Jin Heon sees Hyeon Woo talking to Sam Soon and gets furious. Hyeon Woo gives Sam Soon a gift and tells Jin Heon to leave her alone. They get into a fight and make a huge scene in front of all the guests.

With messy hair and bruised lips, Jin Heon takes Sam Soon to the room. He tells Sam Soon to listen to what he says to her in the future. Sam Soon can’t help but smiling at his remark.
Jin Heon lays his head on Sam Soon’s stomach to rest. He talks about his brother and sister-in-law who were killed in the accident because of his mistake. He bursts into tears. Sam Soon feels terrible for him. She wraps her arms around him and comforts him like a mother to a crying baby. Jin Heon climbed the Hanllyu Mountain after he recovered so that he will appear strong in front of Hee Jin when she comes back. He tells Sam Soon again not to be with another man because he dislikes it. But Jin Heon emphasize it does not imply that he likes her.

Hee Jin appears at the hotel and asks to speak with Jin Heon. Sam Soon refuses to let Jin Heon go and tells him not to look at another woman or listen to another woman except her. She takes Jin Heon away but Jin Heon gets off the taxi to return to the hotel to look for Hee Jin. Sam Soon tries to stop Jin Heon and admits that that she likes him, but Jin Heon leaves anyway and Sam Soon is left stranded on the highway. Jin Heon finds Hee Jin in the hotel and finds out from Henry that Hee Jin left Jin Heon because she found out she had gastric cancer. She could not bear to break the news to Jin Heon after his family tragedy, which is why she chose such a lame excuse to leave and seek treatment in the States, and Henry was her doctor.

Sam Soon goes back to the hotel to look for Jin Heon after hitching a hike from a truck that was ferrying pigs. She runs into Henry at the lobby and is stalled by Henry there. She had a talk with Henry who only knew English and bit of Korean. Sam Soon leaves for the airport alone and leaves a voice message on Jin Heon's mobile thanking him for telling her about his story and tells him about her father’s story.

Episode 8 Daddy, why is my journey of love so tough?

Sam Soon hasn’t heard from Jin Heon since they came back from JeJu Island. He doesn’t come to work, which worries her. Meanwhile, Sam Soon is waiting for a phone call from Jin Heon. Jin Heon lets Hee Jin take a medical examination. He receives her medical records from Henry, who is bothering him for some reason.

Sam Soon tells Yi Young that she misses Jin Heon. However, Yi Young tries to make Sam Soon give him up by saying that it’s out of the question that they become a couple. Sam Soon gets even more upset at her sister’s remark.

Sam Soon makes porridge early in the morning to take to Jin Heon’s apartment. She takes a deep breath and rings the doorbell. However, Sam Soon just turns around without telling him what she’s going to say when Hee Jin pops up behind Jin Heon’s back. Sam Soon is upset and vented her anger at Jin Heon, asking him why did he lead her on. Jin Heon admits that he has gotten back with Hee Jin and is willing to terminate their contract but he really meant it when he said he wanted to climb Hanllyu Mountain with Sam Soon.

Sam Soon is very upset and leaves the apartment. Her bicycle collides with a motorcycle because she was so tired she did not sleep the last few nights waiting for Jin Heon. Jin Heon sends Sam Soon to the hospital. As she lays there asleep, he checks his voice messages and hears all the messages Sam Soon left him.Hee Jin finds out from Yi Young about Jin Heon and Sam Soon 's dating contract. Hee Jin visits Jin Heon's mother to tell her that she is back and she is completely cured and healthy. But Jin Heon's mother turns Hee Jin away as she does not want a sick daughter-in-law.

Episode 9 You made a mockery out of my heart
9부 당신은 내가 드린 마음을 장난감처럼...

Mrs. Na who wants to separate Hee Jin from Jin Heon decides to use Sam-soon. Jin Heon is surprised to see Sam Soon coming to his brother’s memorial service with his mother. Jin Heon claims that he broke up with Sam Soon but his mother walks away leaving Sam Soon with him.

Sam Soon gives Jin Heon her resignation letter, and Jin Heon takes it and drives off without offering Sam Soon a ride. She takes the bus home and sees Jin Heon waiting for her at her place with a bouquet of flowers. Sam Soon makes him kneel down to beg her not to quit. Jin Heon kneels and Sam Soon accepts the bouquet yet she does not guarantee that she will not quit.

Jin Heon and Hee Jin have a great time together talking about the days they have shared together.

At the same time, Sam Soon walks home all alone. She tries to forget Jin Heon but she feels like crying. Bong-soon sees Sam Soon crying her heart out in her room and wonders what happened to her. Suspicious, she asks Yi Young what happened to Sam Soon. Sam Soon's mother is furious over what happened and goes to the restaurant to kick up a big fuss with Jin Heon. She gives Jin Heon the house deeds and demands that Sam Soon leaves her job immediately.

Episode 10 My name is Kim Hee Jin
10부 내 이름은 김희진

On his way out from the restaurant, Jin Heon realizes that the bakery seems empty and lifeless without Sam Soon. Jin Heon finds Sam Soon's note book in the kitchen and starts to read her notes. He misses Sam Soon and sms her to come back by promising her a raise. Sam Soon ignore his messages and throws away the dress Jin Heon gave her and bury the bouquet he gave her in the garden.

Jin Heon accidentally calls Hee Jin as Sam Soon when they were out on a date with Mi Joo. Hee Jin is disturbed by what Jin Heon say.Meanwhile, Hee Jin goes to Mrs. Na and tries to change her mind. Even though Mrs. Na used to care about her very much, she doesn’t want her to be with Jin Heon anymore. Hee Jin smiles when she’s with Henry, but he can feel her sadness behind her smile.

Finally, Bong-soon lets Sam Soon legally change her name. It seems to Sam Soon that everything else will be all right if only she changes her name, as she has always wanted. She goes to the courthouse to report her changed name. Afterwards, she’s all dressed up and goes on an arranged date. However, the date openly complains about Sam-soon’s age and appearance. Since he isn’t that great either, she makes fun of him right in front of his face. Coincidentally her previous match made date, which was thwarted by Jin Heon, was also at the hotel on another unsuccessful match made date. Sam Soon cannot believe her luck and is happy that her life is turning for the better by changing her name. Jin Heon hears from Chae Ri that Sam Soon is meeting someone at the hotel cafe. After he sees In-hye having a hard time working alone in the restaurant to replace Sam Soon, he goes to the hotel where Sam Soon is meeting another man and again dragged Sam Soon out from her date. Sam Soon is very upset with what Jin Heon did and told him that her date may be the last man and the last chance for her. Jin Heon tells Sam Soon that she is attractive, but it is just that she doesn't know it.

Episode 11 Don't say it's a slip up, because this is the second kiss

Sam Soon can’t believe Jin Heon and Hyeon Woo exchanging punches while fighting over her. Jin Heon asks Sam Soon not to leave him, but she shakes off his hand. Jin Heon is shocked at the fact that Sam Soon has refused him. Angry at Sam-soon, Jin Heon tries to get rid of the stuffed animal Miss Piggy, but every time something stops him from throwing it away. Sam Soon goes on a diet. She tries to live on various kinds of vegetables, but she realizes that it’s impossible for her.

Jin Heon can't get Sam Soon out of his head. Noticing the bicycle Sam Soon left at his house, Jin Heon calls Sam Soon in the middle of the night to take the bicycle back. She comes to pick up her bicycle and Jin Heon ends up giving her a ride home due to a punctured tyre on the bicycle. On the way to her house, Hee Jin calls.

Hyeon Woo takes Sam Soon out for a drink at Jin Heon's mother's hotel. They bump into Jin Heon who is there to seek help from his mother to loan a pastry chef. Hyeon Woo asks Sam Soon to marry him, but Sam Soon refuses unless he calls off his wedding. Jin Heon interrupts Sam Soon and Hyeon Woo and drags a screaming Sam Soon away.

Jin Heon takes Sam Soon into the gents and kiss Sam Soon. He confesses that he likes her and can't get her out of his head. He hugs her. Sam Soon bursts into tears with joy.

Episode 12 So what? I am only 30 years old!

Yi Young asks Jin Heon to stop confusing Sam-soon. When Jin Heon refuses to listen to her, she says that she doesn’t want Sam Soon to get heartbroken over a man anymore. Hee Jin feels nervous about Jin Heon who can’t look at her in the eyes. He seems confused to her. Hee Jin meets Sam Soon and asks her to leave Jin Heon alone. However, Sam Soon tells her that Jin Heon might be the last man coming up in her life. She tells her to leave the choice to Jin Heon.

Sam Soon pays back the money she borrowed from Jin Heon and asks him to return the house deed. He returns her the house deed, but tears up the cheque she has given him back. Sam Soon is shocked at his behavior. He tells her that he doesn’t mind selling off the restaurant if he has to.

Sam Soon received notice that her name change is approved yet she feels lost because Jin Heon likes her to be known as Sam Soon. Hee Jin and Jin Heon had an unhappy date. Hee Jin seek solace with Henry again while Jin Heon goes to his mother's place and spends the night reading to Mi Joo.

Sam Soon decides to climb the Hanllyu mountain on her birthday to mark her ending with Jin Heon there. She scolded all her way up the mountain, as it was a tedious one. Sam Soon was surprise to see Jin Heon at the top waiting for her. The storm was very strong, so she thought she was hallucinating.

Episode 13 Ways to break up with her...
13부 13화]그녀와 이별하는 법...

Jin Heon and Sam Soon on the Hanllyu mountain. He asks her to extend their contract. He suggests pretending to be a couple for the next 100 years. Sam Soon just laughs at him and refuses Jin Heon flatly. But she gets hungry and asks Jin Heon for some food. When he prepares birthday soup for her, she’s impressed.

Both of them spent the night in the same room but Sam Soon refuses Jin Heon's advances until she lose at least 10 kg. Jin Heon tries to force his way and ends up getting beaten up by Sam Soon. Sam Soon shows Jin Heon her application approval for her name change, which Jin Heon promptly tears up. Sam Soon goes emotional over what he did and beat Jin Heon until he nose bled.

Hee Jin is sad when she can’t reach Jin Heon. Henry tires to make her feel better, but it doesn’t work. Meanwhile, Mrs. Na tells Jin Heon not to see Sam Soon anymore. However, Jin Heon refuses. She decides to go to Sam-soon’s house. She decides to go to Sam-soon’s house where she found out that Jin Heon had actually entered into a love contract with Sam Soon to escape marriage pressure from her.

Sam Soon starts to looks for a shop space with her sister to start her own business. Jin Heon looks for Henry to play basketball and swim. He picks up a fight with Henry.

Chae Ri looks for Sam Soon and threw flour at her for breaking her engagement. Sam Soon takes Chae Ri to the sauna and told her that what she do is actually a favour to Chae Ri. On her way home after that, she sees Hyeon Woo crying at her door. Hyeon Woo confesses his love again to Sam Soon. Sam Soon told him that her mother had always warned her about men like him, once a cheat will always be a cheat.

Jin Heon goes over to Hee Jin place and breaks up with her

Episode 14 The foundations of falling in love

Hee Jin tries to keep her cool, but she’s very upset. She starts hitting Jin Heon out of frustration. Jin Heon just lets her hit him. He hugs her tightly and sheds tears. Meanwhile, Mrs. Na finds out that originally Jin Heon paid Sam Soon to pretend to be her girlfriend. Angry with him, she blames him for buying other people with his money.

When Sam Soon can’t reach Jin Heon, she rushes to his restaurant. However, she finds out that he didn’t come to work because he’s sick. Worried, she goes to Jin Heon’s place and takes care of him. Jin Heon realizes again how comfortable he feels around Sam Soon. The following day, Jin Heon and Sam Soon do the seven things she has wanted to do with her boyfriend. Jin Heon thinks it’s silly, but he does what she wants him to do. Sam Soon thinks Jin Heon is so sweet and thoughtful. Now, only one thing from her list is left. Without knowing what it is, Jin Heon gets nervous. Jin Heon visits Sam Soon 's mum and brings a dog as a gift. He is grilled by Sam Soon 's mother about his intentions and sincerity towards Sam Soon . He finally wins her over after a few drinks and a karaoke session.

Hee Jin stopped eating after her breakup. Henry brings her food and tells her a story about his mother making him porridge when he was sick. Hee Jin is coached by Henry into eating. Hee Jin gets admitted to the hospital for eating problems. Jin Heon visits her in the hospital and is upset abput her condition. Hee Jin wants to be discharged immediately and Jin Heon agrees provided if she agrees to stay at his place for the night for him to look after her.Sam Soon fails to get in touch with Jin Heon and decides to look for him at his apartment. She runs into Jin Heon holding Hee Jin in the elevator of his place.

Sam Soon is confused when she sees Jin Heon and Hee Jin getting out of the elevator together. Jin Heon asks her not to misunderstand him, but she tells him that she still feels that three people are involved in their relationship. Sam Soon goes to Hee Jin’s house when she hears that Hee Jinwho is sick have left Jin Heon's house early in the morning. Hee Jin has a hard time understanding Sam Soon who has brought the food to her love rival. Hee Jin asks her to leave her alone, but Sam Soon insists on eating some food. Hee Jin who has been very patient with Sam Soon finally grasps Sam Soon by her hair.

Henry walks in the room and is surprised to see the two women fighting. Sam Soon tries to teach Henry how to play Korean cards while Hee Jin is on the drip. Hee Jin can't bear to see Henry lose and joins the game although she detests the presence of Sam Soon , and manage to win the game for Henry.

Hee Jin decides to go back to the US where her parents are living. After giving it a lot of thought, she asks Jin Heon to accompany her to the US as a last favor from him and he agreed.

Sam Soon and Jin Heon takes Mi Joo to the acquarium. They go back to Jin Heon's apartment and Sam Soon reads the MoMo story to Mi Joo. Mi Joo falls asleep and Jin Heon tells Sam Soon about his trip to the States with Hee Jin. Sam Soon is upset and they got into an argument. Mi Joo wakes up from their fighting and started to cry. She spoke for the first time in many years, shocking both Jin Heon and Sam Soon.

Sam Soon and Jin Heon are on a cold war over the trip. Sam Soon goes to see Hee Jin and asked her what is going on. Hee Jin tells Sam Soon that it is a break-up trip for Jin Heon and herself. After returning from Hee Jin’s place, Sam Soon found Jin Heon waiting outside her home. Sam Soon finally agrees to let Jin Heon go to the States with Hee Jin. At the name registry, Sam Soon decides to tear up her name change application and not to change her name.

Episode 16 Love, like you have never been hurt before

Jin Heon leaves for the US saying that he will be back in a week. However, it’s been three months since he left. Sam Soon hasn’t heard from him since then. She can’t understand how Jin Heon can do this to her. She really wanted to make it work out this time without getting heartbroken, but the reality only disappoints her and breaks her heart again. Sam Soon is on her way to meet the man she ran into twice on the blind date. When she’s about to leave the shop, she’s shocked to see the person who stops the car she’s in. Jin Heon is standing there and staring at Sam Soon. The first thing he says to her in three months is "Are you two-timing on me?" Sam Soon can’t believe what is happening before her very eyes.

Jin Heon decided to go for a trip on his own after he sent Hee Jin home so he can understand about hotel management. Sam Soon was angry with him for not calling and writing letters to her but Jin Heon said he did. In fact, Jin Heon has been sending postcard to the wrong address which is why Sam Soon did not hear from him. He didn't want to call as he was afraid that he may just come home when he hears Sam Soon 's voice.

Hee Jin calls Sam Soon from the States. Hee Jin thanks Sam Soon for letting Jin Heon go to the States with her. Then Sam Soon told Hee Jin never to call her again. Henry tells Hee Jin that he is going to volunteer at MSF in Africa. Hee Jin begs him to stay until she graduates so that she can go with him, and Henry kisses her.

Jin Heon takes Sam Soon home and ask for permission to be married. He lies to his mother that Sam Soon is pregnant. Jin Heon's mother does not believe Jin Heon and asks for Sam Soon to see a doctor with her.

Although their relationship still faces strong objection from Jin Heon's mother and her cake shop business is still slow in sales but Jin Heon and Sam Soon remains firmly in love as they live each day as though there is no tomorrow.
